Visitor Centre & Gardens Access

The Visitor Centre is open Wednesday to Sunday 9am – 4:30pm.

During the open season (March to October ONLY) the Gardens open at 10.30am – 4.30pm

The site is closed on Monday and Tuesdays

If you arrive early, you may visit the Stables Courtyard to access the cafe, gift shop, museum and restrooms, which are open from 9:00am to 4.30pm during the summer season. From 10:30am, make your way over to the Visitors Centre to meet our friendly team, purchase your garden tickets and Renishaw Hall & Gardens Guidebooks. This is the entryway to the Italianate Gardens, which lead to the surrounding lake and woodlands areas. Dogs on leads are welcome in the gardens and cafe areas. If you are feeling peckish and want to visit the Café at Renishaw or potter around the Stable Courtyard and Vineyard, you are welcome to exit the gardens via the Visitors Centre and return throughout the day at your leisure.

Before you leave for the day, don’t forget to browse our souvenir, book and award-winning wine selection. If you have fallen in love with Renishaw and want to purchase a Season Ticket, we can arrange this on the day of your visit and ahead of your departure.

Perfect for those looking for a full day of escapism, our Day Tickets give you access to all outdoor exploring and the Stables Courtyard.

To fully experience Renishaw Hall & Gardens, we advise an early arrival, giving you ample time to discover and enjoy everything we have to offer.

Please note: The Hall is a family home and is not open for general browsing. We offer a 1-hour Guided Hall Tour every Friday at 12:30pm and 2:00pm (March to October)

We strongly recommend booking online in advance to avoid disappointment.
